Springtime in Berlin

We are spending our first spring in our new (to us) old house in the heart of Berlin, Md., and with all the demolition and construction we've being doing on the interior, it's been a treat to see the garden come to life outside! Here are a few of our discoveries so far... 

New home, new #garden, new discoveries each morning this #Spring 😊 This AM, #tulips 🌷, which are a special treat since we couldn't grow them in the Pines due to the squirrels finding them especially tasty 💐

Losing track, but thinking this little #turtle may be number 12 in our inherited urban herd? @matthewamey discovered it this AM along with a much larger mature adult who emerged 🐢 #SoCute but #toomanyturtles 😳

A Seussian #flower spotted in our #garden today on a scraggly shrub/tree...any pointers to what it is?

The largest members of our #turtle herd have emerged - the #eyes on this old chap are stunning!

Hurrah! The #bees are back - lots of them buzzing through the #crocus #flowers in the #garden this morning 😊 #signsofspring
